Tribe-White Sox rained out

Tonight’s game has been postponed by rain. It will be made up as part of a traditional doubleheader beginning at 4:05 p.m. ET Wednesday.

Those with tickets to Wednesday’s game will see two games for the price of one. Those who had tickets to Tuesday’s game can exchange them for any home game in April or May 2010.

This postponement bumps right-hander Justin Masterson back a day. He’ll pitch the nightcap of the doubleheader, with Fausto Carmona pitching the first game.

Because of this, Masterson won’t be eligible to pitch the season finale Sunday, as originally planned. That start is likely to go to Tomo Ohka now.

Really? Tomo Ohka is going to finish out the year for us? …Really? I guess it has just been that kind of year.

Is it really raining that much? There’s barely anything on the radar. But I guess if I had the option of playing two games tomorrow in no rain, I’d choose that too.

Quick ticket question about tonight’s game. I have tickets at will-call, I live about 2 and a half hours away so I won’t be able to pick up and I am unable to attend the doubleheader tomorrow. Am I able to do the exchange for tickets next season over the phone with a ticket office rep? Has anyone else had this problem before? Thanks for the advice.

Michael, I have no idea. I would hope that since you payed for the tickets already, you should be able to redeem them for tix next year. I would check this post tonight and again tomorrow. AC is good about responding to people’s questions.

and the way this season has gone, why shouldn’t tomo ohka close out our season?

Michael, If you haven’t done so already, I suggest you contact the ticket office at (216) 420-HITS with that question.

Eric Wedge is out in Cleveland folks!

I did not mean to give that an exclamation point. I was excited at seeing no one else had commented about it yet…
