6/29: Indians vs. White Sox
Tonight’s 7:05 p.m. ET game at Progressive Field will be broadcast by STO and WTAM.
UPDATE: Dye’s absence corrected. As for Cabrera, he played two in a row (Akron on Saturday and here on Sunday) and, as of now, is limited to playing two out of every three games. So he’ll be off tonight and most likely in there Tuesday and Wednesday.
INDIANS (31-46): 2B Jamey Carroll, CF Grady Sizemore, C Victor Martinez, RF Shin-Soo Choo, 3B Jhonny Peralta, DH Travis Hafner, 1B Ryan Garko, SS Luis Valbuena, LF Chris Gimenez. RHP Carl Pavano (6-6, 5.80).
WHITE SOX (37-38): LF Scott Podsednik, SS Alexei Ramirez, RF Jermaine Dye, DH Jim Thome, 1B Paul Konerko, C A.J. Pierzynski, 2B Chris Getz, 3B Gordon Beckham, CF Dewayne Wise. RHP Gavin Floyd (5-5, 4.45).

Why is asdrubal out? Is it just a precaution to give him a day rest? At this point, I need some sort of explanation or I have to assume that he re-aggravated the shoulder and will be out for the season.
What’s going on with the CWS lineup? Are they playing without a right fielder? That would be funny to witness….hey maybe we should try that!!
We might actually be a better team if we played without our defensively challenged left fielder in either Ben Francisco or Ryan Garko!!
Man, Benny has really fallen from grace. I think Gimenez deserves his chances and all (as a CATCHER), but the fact that he’s in there over Francisco is cold.
And the world continues to wonder why Gimenez is on the roster if he’s not going to catch when there are better outfielders and first basemen in Columbus just waiting for a chance…
Wedge sits Cabrera for the golden boy Carroll. I would think that he’s trying to showcase him but I would doubt he’d allow Shapiro to trade his boy. Here’s hoping Cabrera isn’t injured again.
