I made an MLB account just so I could be the first to point out that Carmona is right handed, not left handed. I’m obviously lacking on things to do on this wonderful Saturday.

AC, dude, where’s the story about Molly Peralta getting bitten by a scorpion??? I mean if that’s not excruciating minutia, then I don’t know what is! Looks like Hoynesie is on top of the minutia. Better get on it. =)

AC, is Tom Hamilton calling all the spring games?

I thought Fausto was trying something new today. I guess not.
And yes, Molly Peralta was bitten by a scorpion. She survived. All is well.
And no, Hamilton is only calling the games broadcast on WTAM and the occassional Internet broadcast. He, too, is building up his innings threshold as the spring goes along, I guess.

I saw on the mlb network ticker that the Tribe is one of four teams looking at Pedro Martinez. Any additional info on this? How serious are they?

Hey greater Clevelanders

Looking for two owners for American League Rotisserie teams. Auction draft on April 11, Flat fee for season $300 covers most transaction (except long term, buyouts and a $50 FAAB,) Owners will take over existing teams can save anywhere from 0 to 15 players.

Will accept $150 draft day and $150 at all-star break.

Regarding Pedro, I could of course be wrong, but I am under the impression that the Indians gave Pedro a look over the winter along with some other veteran pitchers who could be had at a discount, but they ended up signing Carl Pavano. For whatever reason, every baseball news outlet has continued to report the Indians interest in Pedro as being active, even though they have made it clear that they have spent all their money. So like I said, I could be wrong, but from what I can gather, the Indians had interest in Pedro a few months ago, no longer do, but for some reason because at one point they did in-deed have interest, news agencies have decided that if you have interest at one point, you must always have interest, so they keep reporting the Indians as a potential team for him.

Just a FYI…
Scorpians don’t bite you, they sting you with their stinger on their tail.

I was at this game and it was seeing the Tribe play. They played great and there was a lot of hussel!!
