Reyes might get skipped
Nothing is determined yet, but it doesn’t look like Anthony Reyes is making the start Wednesday in Baltimore.
“There’s a pretty good chance we’ll skip his next start,” Eric Wedge said.
Reyes showed up to the park today and said his elbow felt better than it did last night, but the Indians will likely err on the side of caution.
Looks like left-hander Scott Lewis will get the nod, as he’s on the 40-man roster and still active in the postseason for Double-A Akron. Lewis was 6-2 with a 2.33 ERA in 13 starts at Akron and he was 2-2 with a 2.63 ERA in four starts at Buffalo earlier this year.
The Indians will probably make their decision Sunday.
